Choosing to speak the Word, to hear the Word and to live the Word and not depend on human wisdom. With God all things are possible! We believe in a good God, Who has good plans for His people and answers them when they call. That’s why we are committed to building up peoples’ lives through Biblical edification and encouragement. We are devoted to personal and congregational prayer and intercession. Jesus said that, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” Prayers of faith can move mountains. Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We desire to bring the broken home at all costs. We believe that our light is best seen in the night. We seek the presence of God in all our gatherings by worshipping in spirit and in truth. We acknowledge what God has done in our lives, and we express our gratitude in the way we praise and worship Him. God has given so richly to us, and it's our honor to give back to Him. We see generosity as a privilege, and therefore, it’s giving more than what is required. We're generous with our time, talents and treasure. Christ in us is all the reason we need to live a life of joy. God is constantly growing and changing us, and we are excited about seeing His plans unfold! We celebrate who we are today and who we are becoming. Together, they are passionate about building a thriving, Spirit-filled church where people encounter Jesus, grow in authentic community, discover their God-given purpose, and are equipped to make a lasting difference in their neighborhoods, their nation, and around the world. Their ministry is built on the conviction that the local church is God's primary instrument for transforming lives, strengthening families, developing leaders, and advancing the Great Commission. A defining emphasis of their ministry is global missions, with a particular focus on unreached people groups, including long-term investment in Japan (one of the least-reached countries in the world). Pastor Solo was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. As a teenager he discovered God's call to ministry and helped pioneer a church plant in Nairobi. Sarah was raised at City Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. They met in Kenya in 2000 while Sarah was serving as a volunteer registered nurse at an orphanage. After a two-year long-distance courtship, they were married in August 2002 at City Church. They are the proud parents of eleven children and are joyfully anticipating their first grandchild. In addition to leading City Church, Pastor Solo is the founder and President of Freedom Financial and co-founder and President of Freedom Family Mortgage. Sarah is a registered nurse by training, a published author, speaker, and social media influencer whose content on faith, parenting, homemaking, and intentional living reaches hundreds of thousands of households each week. **Their shared mission:** To help people know Jesus deeply, build strong families, lead with integrity, experience Biblical freedom, and leave a legacy that advances the Kingdom of God for generations to come. ### Pastors Dustin & Heather Sutter **Executive Pastor & Children’s/Administrative Pastor** Pastors Dustin and Heather became the Executive Pastors of Lincoln City Church in January 2014.
