We are so grateful that we have been able to meet as a church in person since June 7. We continue to stay updated with the health department regarding church gatherings. Our pastoral team at City Church desires to take the whole counsel of Scripture into account regarding working with governing authorities, including Romans 13:1-7 and 1 Peter 2:13-17. We are requesting that the congregation take personal responsibility for their behavior, as we do not plan to police people individually on this issue.  

In regards to children’s ministry, efforts continue to be made to help children who arrive with masks on to keep them on, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to enforce that for all individuals at all times. Children without masks will be welcomed to take part, as well. 

It is the responsibility of parents as to whether they have their children wear masks or not. If you are uncomfortable with this, your children are most welcome to worship in the sanctuary with you. Kids Bulletin Packets are available at Kid Check to help them engage with the service.
